The artistic process

This painting is part of a new series of tempera paintings, an ancient technique

oil painting technique, through which I wish to remind people of the need to effectively protect 30% of the planet – land and sea – before 2030 – a motion voted at the IUCN Congress in Marseille in 2021, where I was lucky enough to exhibit. This painting represents one of my favorite places in Corsica. Although protected by the Conservatoire du littoral, this area is increasingly frequented following the creation of a tarmac road and a large parking lot, and is subject to erosion and major risks of degradation.
