The artistic process

The large cetaceans that come ashore on our beaches, polluted and very sick, are represented here. The port structures symbolizing the “Anthropocene” (black photo transfers), which contrast with the marine life, sky and sea (mixed paint technique), have been transferred to canvas using black photography technology. Marine life, sky and sea are painted in oil and mixed media with water.

The violence of the colors denounces the damage done to ecosystems.
