This exhibition features the work of 55 painters trained at Atelier 43, directed by Hélène Legrand. The idea behind this exhibition? A single format, the square! One of my paintings will be on show, “Océan à deux têtes”, 2024 (50×50 cm), in reference to the UNOC3 conference that just took place in Nice. This conference led to major advances, notably with the international treaty on the protection of biodiversity in the high seas (outside exclusive economic zones), known as the BBNJ, whose ratification by the 60 countries required for its application is almost a foregone conclusion!

Neptune is challenged in my painting by the carnivorous fish: we demand greater respect for living things, and an end to the incredible waste caused by bottom trawling, at least in protected marine areas!
Art can help science get these urgent messages across.
We look forward to seeing you at the vernissage on Friday 20/06 to share our passion for painting.
