This edition coincides with the Year of the Sea 2025. Having worked for over 30 years on the alliance between art and science in favor of protecting ocean ecosystems, I couldn’t pass up this wonderful opportunity to demonstrate that art can and must contribute to raising awareness!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The theme of the 2025 Salon d’Automne will be the ocean, with a space dedicated to maritime issues and artists committed to these causes. I am very proud to have contributed to the emergence of this \u201cmaritimization\u201d of the Salon, which has been awarded the \u201cMer en Commun\u201d label by the Ministry of Ecological Transition, and to be the educational manager of this Oceans space, which includes educational panels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this context, I will have the pleasure of giving an art and science lecture entitled \u201cOceans, art to the rescue\u201d with Corinne Copin, scientific mediator and oceanographer, on Saturday, November 1, at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This lecture will be followed by a book signing for my book \u201cPlaidoyer pour une eau vivante\u201d (A Plea for Living Water), available throughout the Salon at the Lelivredart stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, I will be exhibiting two paintings in the Oceans space and one painting in the Variations section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
